Dr. Wong Kam Shing is the Managing Director of Kowloon Watch Company since 1972. Dr. Wong was born in Hong Kong, the eldest of seven children. His father, Mr. Wong Ho Hung, founded the company in 1952 and was a much-respected member of the watch and clock trade. Dr. Wong was educated at St. Paul Boy’s College, Hong Kong, and the Swiss Watch Technical Centre. He holds an EMBA from the University of Ottawa and a DBA from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Wong is active in the industry. He was Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries, Advisor to the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (Watch & Clock Advisory Committee), Organizing Chairman of Asia Horological Trade and Industry Promotion Conference, and Coordinator of the Beijing International Jewellery, Watch and Technical Equipment Fair. Outside these industrial roles, Dr. Wong also held highly respectable positions in organizations such as the Scout Association of Hong Kong (Kowloon Region), Hong Kong Management Association, Hong Kong Retail Management Limited, and the Prince Edward District Committee. He was also Chairman of the CUBA Elite Mentorship Program (2007-2008). Dr. Wong is married to Lucy Sun and has three children. |
